Niseko Night Skiing with Nimbus Crew

in Videos

For those of you that have not been to Niseko before, night skiing or snowboarding or whatever you kids are into these days, is one thing you must experience while you are here.  Now every time I talk to someone about going night skiing the person I am talking to always seems to have this negative relationship with the idea. I know night skiing in other countries like Australia, New Zealand and even parts of Canada are pretty lame, but what you need to keep in mind is this is Niseko and it pukes pow a lot!

Not convinced? You would rather be sitting in your over priced condo?

Good, more pow for the rest of us! But check out this video before you really cross it off your list of things not to do!

Ok so I’m convinced after that! How late to the lift stay open for and how cold is it?

    Hi Tk,

Thanks for stopping in on Niseko Webzine and leaving your comment.

Great to hear your will be giving night skiing a rip this season! The last lifts are between 8.30 and 9.00pm. It will feel a little colder to most, better to have a slightly warmer fleece on or use thermals if you don’t already. Good idea to take a face mask and have some clear or very light goggle lenses to help peepers pick out the pow pockets! =)

    Enjoy!!
