I first introduced my feet to a pair of Salomon Dialogues around 10 years ago and that was a life changing moment.
Many times I have tried to buy different boots, thinking there are more expensive options out there so they must be packing some type of super boot features right?
I have been disappointed every time!
I’ll try boots on in the shop, then put a Dialogue on to compare and every time I have taken home a shiny new pair of Dialogues to play with!
So why have my feet become addicted to the Salomon Dialogue?
Break em in
What the shit is that about anyway, why should a boot need to be broken in? I want my boots to be like wearing slippers from day 1!
Would you buy a pair of sneakers on a chance that one day in the future they may be comfortable? pppfffffff NO!
So why should you with snowboard boots? Today I wore a brand spanking new pair of Dialogues for the first time, straight from the shop to the lift and it was magical! Slip on a pair of Dialogues and your feet will think they are wearing some type of super megatron hybrid slipper straight out of the box!
Heel lift
Before making the move to the Dialogue, in every pair of boots I had owned I was a victim to heel lift and I couldn’t understand why. Surely my foot shape is not that freaky. As it turns out, it isn’t. The Dialogue boots stick to your heels like a shit to a blanket! According to Salomon it has something to do with their cat’s tongue technology (See Heel Grip).
These puppies are jam packed full of techy boot features that will make your feet think they are on holiday at an uber exclusive Swedish foot spa.
My favourite features this year are the wash and wear liner so you can keep your boots smelling like roses, low profile sole with dual EVA dampening to give them a skate shoe feel and of course the upper and lower boot panels to allow for a maximum range of movement without boot squish (squish is not a Salomon technical term).
Busted piggy banks
Thankfully, the Dialogue is a mid range boot for Salomon so it is awesome value for your hard earned gold! Therefore no need to bust open your little brother’s piggy bank!
The next time you need a new pair of wheels to keep you happy and connected to your snowboard, do yourself a favor and try the Salomon Dialogue.

Just for the record
We all know paid product reviews are everywhere on the net, but we just want you to know that this is not one! We paid for the boots for personal use and just wanted to share with you our own experience.
Salomon Gods, if you read this, thank you for making an epic boot, we love rockin’ em!
