sorry dont know if i am in the rite place but if any one can help me out going to niseko in feb can any one recomend a ski hire shop also i have k2 explorers 170 i ama intermedant ski level would there be a better ski . thanks neil

Hey Kash, Ashok has delivered the hot spot in Sapporo for electronics shopping. Be careful, the jingle they play over the speakers is pretty catchy and you will yourself singing it for days.

Also check out some of the adventure/outdoor stores and the sporting mecca, XEBIO DOME! =)

In Tokyo, just check out the Akihabara district, it is electronics heaven! While in the area go to Kanda Ogawamachi Sporting Goods District for ski, board and all the other sporting equipment you may ever need.

There’s a large electronics shop (Bic Camera) in the Sapporo JR station complex. You should be able to find Japanese hand-held radios there.

Hey thanks for the heads up on the two ways. We were just about to buy some in AU for our trip to Niseko when we read this. Can you recommend a place to get them in Japan? We will be in Tokyo for a few days and Sapporo for a day before making our way to Niseko, would appreciate any advice.
