The Niseko area is frigging stunning in the summer months and this is your chance to come out and visit the area, experience the other side of Niseko and get fit for winter!

Niseko Cycle Week 2009 kicks off on August 30, and promises to be bigger and better than last year. This year the events schedule has been fine-tuned and will also see the introduction of more non-cycling events including live music, kids activities and so forth… all with the goal of increasing the level of participation and promoting the entire Niseko area as a whole.
Adding to the broader aims of last year’s event to create awareness of Niseko as a cycling and green season destination, this year Niseko Cycle Week hopes to help improve the cycle infrastructure and services in Niseko, to promote clean, active lifestyle and health awareness, and contribute to the notion of environmental sustainability through the use of bicycles rather than automobiles.
As part of the week, local residents will be encouraged to participate in a ‘ride to work’ day.
This year’s event schedule will see…

- cross country events
- road riding events
There will be something for the whole family, all set upon the spectacular green summer backdrop of Niseko.
