Will Australian Beer Taste Better?

Ok, so this is not directly related to Niseko, but I am pretty sure a lot of you would have taken the pleasure of tasting Kirin beer while in Niseko.

You might remember, or might not remember it looking like this

In an announcement today by Lion Nathan’s, Australia’s second largest brewer, Kirin Holdings will be buying out the shares held by the Australian company. Lion Nathan is the maker of beer brands XXXX, Tooheys and James Boag’s.

Will the take over improve the taste of these Australian iconic beers?
