Professional snowboarder and creator Taro Tamai and professional photographer and skier Yoichi Watanabe will discuss their affection for Niseko on 17 December at Kutchan SME Centre (Minami 1 Nishi 1, Kutchan) from 18:30.
Tamai is known for his “snowsurf” style as well as the popular snowboard brand, Gentemstick. His varying activities include organising photo exhibitions, creating visual works, and designing cafes.
Watanabe’s breathtaking ski/mountain photos have been published both internationally and domestically in magazines and ads, especially known for his work on the official Niseko ski resort’s yearly winter poster.
The discussion will be led by local restaurateur Junko Watanabe of Graubunden.
Admission is free and doors open at 17:30.
