Japan is generally still a cash society, especially here in Niseko so please be prepared.

Niseko has the one ATM that accepts International Credit and Debit cards. Located in the upper village in the Yama Shizen East building.
Hours: Winter: 8.00am to 9.00pm
Cards Accepted: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, China Union Pay, PLUS, Cirrus
Card Type: Standard size rectangular card. None-rectangular/mini cards not accepted

Kutchan – Post Office
The main Post Office location with ATM facilities in Kutchan. See maps below.
Hours: Weekdays: 8.45am to 7.00pm, Weekends: 9am to 5.00pm, Public Holidays: Closed

Kutchan 7-Elevens
Kutchan has 3 7-Elevans that have ATMs, come accept most International Credit and Debit Cards. From my own personal experience and from what others have experienced, these ATMs seem very temperamental when it comes to International transactions and I would recommend using the Post Office ATMs.
Hours: 24 hours just in case you need a few extra Yens while out on the town.

New Chitose Airport
Before getting to Niseko, withdrawing cash from the Citibank International ATM on the third floor is a great option (Not all International cards are accepted). Now you are cashed up for the rest of your holiday!
